Ten Karakul and two Karakul/Romney cross sheep are being evicted from their home in Mendocino due to coastal zoning laws. They have to be moved by November 30. These sheep are very unusual, not only are they a rare ?fat-tailed? breed of sheep, they are all very tame. Nine are wethers, 3 are older ewes. Karakuls are indigenous to Asia thought to be the most ancient breed of sheep on earth.
